This scale is a hybrid standing/sitting scale. The seat flips up and down easily to allow weighing in a standing or sitting position depending on the comfort of the patient.
Detecto’s 6876 features BMI calculation, 6 AA batteries (not included) or optional AC adapter, concealed wheels for mobility, and a roomy non-slip rubber mat weighing platform. The seat flips up and down easily to allow weighing in a standing or sitting position to maximize patient comfort. It’s equipped with retractable armrests to aid patients into and out of the chair scale easily and to accommodate patients with casts. The Lock/Release key allows weight to be viewed after the patient leaves the scale.
